SOMETIMES I WRITE.
Here's some of what I've shared with the world.
2017- present
Wanna hear something embarrassing? I hopped on Medium before I left the Bay Area, posted a few things, and then promptly forgot about it until a few weeks ago. Wanna hear something even more embarrassing? I've mostly shared not great poetry. Or at least, poetry written without any guidance. After all, I never studied poetry or creative writing in college. The closest I've come to attending a creative writing class is signing up for sketch comedy classes around the country. Anyway, you can read some of my "bad poetry" below.

I Am A Good Boy! - October 2016
Before Nate Waggoner shut this wonderful site down, our friend Maggie Tokuda-Hall brought me in to write a piece during her time as guest editor. I shared a small piece about my dog, Bonkers, who had recently passed away, showing the world through his eyes and mine in his final days. If I ever find the link again, I'll share it here.
February 2016 & January 2020
I was brought into our wonderful group of music and film enthusiasts back in 2016 to pick up film reviews, starting off with a review of Eddie the Eagle. Upon my return to the Bay Area in January 2020, I covered a handful of shows at San Francisco Sketchfest, including BriTANick, Donde Esta Mi Comedy?, and the 20th Anniversary of Galaxy Quest.
September 2015-October 2018
ShipwreckSF was a monthly live satirical erotic literary fanfiction show (I know, it's a lot to take in) that took place at The Booksmith in San Francisco. Here are a few of my favorite stories that I wrote for the show:
-
IT (Original in September 2017, San Francisco; Revised in October 2018, NYCC)
-
Wuthering Heights (February 2017, San Francisco)
-
Beauty and the Beast (March 2017, San Francisco)
-
Pride and Prejudice (February 2016, San Francisco)
You can listen to my additional stories (and older shows) on their podcast page.
